Ever wanted to buy a book in France? A librairie is a book shop in french (don’t mistake it for library). Here is a conversation between a customer (C) and a server (S).

  1. C: Excusez-moi, Votre magasin ferme à quelle heure ?
  2. S: Nous fermons à cinq heures.
  3. C: Je cherche un libre pour ma mère.
  4. S: Quel genre de libre?
  5. C: Elle aime libre fantastique.
  6. S: Je recommande du dernier livre de George RR Martin.
  7. C: Cela semble intéressant. pourriez-vous l’emballer dans un papier cadeau?
  8. S: Oui. c’est 25 euro.
  9. C: Viola. Merci.
  10. S: Merci, bonne journée

  9. C: here you go. Thank you.
